About the program

Appleman Volleyball Camps runs all-skills day camps at Yale’s Payne Whitney Gym, led by Yale head coach Erin Appleman and associate head coach Kevin Laseau. Appleman has won 13 Ivy League championships across 22 years at Yale, and the program enters each summer as defending Ivy regular-season and tournament champions. The camps are built to develop young athletes into fundamentally sound players through individual instruction, drill work and game play — a format that depends on knowing what each camper can already do before the first whistle. Day camps have a particular registration shape. Families commit later than they do for overnight camps, numbers move right up to the start date, and the staff needs an accurate count of who is coming and at what level.

How they use Camp Network

Each camp session runs with its own dates, capacity and question set, so campers arrive sorted by position and experience rather than being assessed on day one. Registration stays open until the session fills, then closes itself. Confirmations and pre-camp details go out to the families who have signed up, without a separate mailing list to maintain.
