Setup
What is Camp Network?
Camp Network is registration and payment software that camp directors use to run sign-ups, forms, waivers and parent communication. It works for camps, clinics, lessons, leagues and after-school programs.
How do I get started?
Create a free trial account and explore the platform to make sure it’s a good fit. When you upgrade, you create or connect a Stripe account so payments are deposited to your bank. Add your sessions in Event Setup, then post your registration link on your website or share it by email.
Do you help me switch from another system?
Yes. Contact us and we’ll help you set up your sessions and registration forms. If you need to bring over an outside contact list, we can enable contact imports for your account.
Can multiple staff use one account?
Yes. Add as many staff members as you need, each with their own login and permissions.
Do you build camp websites?
Yes. We design camp websites you can edit yourself, no coding required. Let us know before you upgrade your account.
Pricing
Who pays the processing fee?
The processing fee of 3.95%–4.95% + 30¢ per transaction is typically passed to the participant at checkout. You can choose to absorb it instead.
What does it cost if I don’t collect payments online?
Every account includes 50 non-payment registrations a year at no cost. If you need more, the Standard plan is $75/month for up to 500, or $720/year paid upfront.
Long Term Contracts?
No contracts at all. Simply agree to the rates if you want to use our platform for your registration. Completely pay-as-you-go!
Discounts for large organizations or non-profits?
Standard processing is 3.95%–4.95% + 30¢ per transaction. Nonprofits and higher-volume programs generally qualify for 3.95%, and the largest programs can go as low as 3.50% + 30¢. Contact us to ask about a discounted rate.
Payments
How are payments processed?
Camp Network partners with Stripe to process payments, and you create or connect a Stripe account in minutes when you upgrade. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification in the payments industry.
How fast do deposits arrive?
Payments run through Stripe and are deposited directly into your bank account as registrations come in. Camp Network doesn’t hold your funds.
Can families pay in installments?
Yes. Set up payment plans, track every family’s balance, and let automatic reminders go out for unpaid balances.
What about refunds?
Refunds are an inevitable part of event registration. Most competitors cannot return fees but we allow full refunds.
Is my data secure?
Payments are processed by Stripe, which is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest level in the payments industry. Inside your account, each staff member only has the permissions you give them.
Features
Do you have waiting lists?
Yes. Waiting lists are included on every plan, with automation that moves families up as spots open.
Can I collect waivers and signatures?
Yes. Waivers are signed electronically during registration, and reminders go out to anyone who still needs to sign.
Can I send texts?
Yes. Send custom emails and SMS texts to a single session, a group or your whole program, along with automatic confirmations.
Can I sell merchandise or accept donations?
Yes. Sell apparel and add-ons in the camp store during checkout, and accept donations with registration or on their own.
